In a remarkable effort to support education for underprivileged students, the Rajeevan Memorial Foundation (RMF) has teamed up with sponsors to address a long-standing shortage of study materials and teachers at our local school. This initiative comes at a time when the education sector is expanding globally, highlighting the importance of such local interventions.
For many years, students from grades 6 to 9 at our school have faced challenges due to a lack of essential resources. Recognizing this issue, the RMF, with generous support from the UNITED WARRIORS (2009 O/L - 2012 A/L) division, has provided substantial financial assistance amounting to Rs. 1,800,000.
These funds have facilitated the appointment of a new teacher, Ms. Praveshvi Rajasingh, who is tasked with systematically distributing basic study materials to the students. This initiative is meticulously overseen by Mrs. Sudarshini, ensuring that the educational needs of 500 students are met effectively. Additionally, the funds cover the monthly salary of Ms. Rajasingh, ensuring her sustained involvement in the program.
This initiative marks a significant step forward in providing quality education to underprivileged students and ensuring they have the necessary tools to succeed. The school's administration and the RMF extend their heartfelt gratitude to the UNITED WARRIORS for their invaluable support.
